Family History

From the time when its name used to be the “Posta Inn” almost three centuries have elapsed.

Moltrasio and its Hotel have always been a “must” for anyone travelling along Via Regina who needed to break the journey for refreshment.

Famous people such as Vincenzo Bellini and Sir Winston Churchill are among whose who have enjoyed the delightful climate of this dainty village on the west side of Lake Como.

For nearly one hundred years the Posta Hotel has been owned by the Vanini Taroni Family, who have constantly improved it.

Recently refurbished and made more elegant by the introduction of fine and appropriate details, it has become more comfortable.

Under the expert management of Italo Taroni and his children, the “Posta”, as is usually called by the inhabitants of Como, is able to offer his guests the tastes of a typical and refined cuisine, in the full respect of tradition.

And, of course, a warm welcome is reserved to all.
